Urban Decay Concealer
This has been on my wishlist for months, so I finally cracked and bought myself the Urban Decay concealer after reading so many reviews and saw comparisons with UD vs Nars but wanted to give both a try as they both had amazing reviews. On the Boxing Day sales, I went and treated myself to a few bits at Feel Unique. I am so glad I’ve tried this concealer as it’s so lightweight compared to the Nars one and great for dry skin, my favourite place to use this is under the eyes as it is so brightening and covers any bad nights I’ve had. This lasts for most of the day without cracking and over blemishes but it is more medium coverage for covering spots. I have the shade Fair Neutral which is the lightest and I will be repurchasing this a lot.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner
This is my holy grail liquid eyeliner, it’s just perfect as it lasts all day. I’m talking 16hrs and more it is jet black and stays that way for weeks into using the product, unlike many disappointed liners I’ve tried in the past. I find this really easy to apply and none of that scratchy going over to make it black business as one stroke is all you need, plus its quick drying and easy to remove. The most impressive thing I love about this liner is that it is also waterproof if you went swimming or it was raining and didn’t rub your eyes then it would still be in place. I’m currently on my third liner since using this in 2015 as it lasts me so long and I use this pretty much every day.
Stila Smudge Sticks
As I’m a massive fan of the liquid liner I got a set with two smudge sticks included as it’s another liner I’ve wanted to try, these are the best smudge liners I’ve ever tried, they can smudge all along the lid from a tiny amount. I love to wear these on my lash line as they don’t last as long on my water line. I have the shades Stingray (black) & Lionfish (brown) which can be great for a natural subtle smudge or for a bold smokey eye. The staying power on these are great and there is no sharpening needed with a twist up nib.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette
I’ve been eyeing this palette up for soo long, I just wanted a nice simple neutral matte eyeshadow base that’s easy to wear for work as I like to keep my makeup quite plain and then save my full face looks on the weekends or nights out. I’m a massive fan of UD eyeshadows in general which was another reason why I wanted this as there doesn’t seem to be a small and perfect for travelling with all matte shade palette out there in the drugstore world or if there is please share as I’m clearly unaware.
The Balm theManizer Sisters Highlighter Palette
Everyone raves about the Mary Lou highlighter and it’s been on my wishlist for years, so when I saw this trio set for less than the price of one highlighter, it was a no-brainer really and it’s given me the chance to try out the other highlighters. Mary Lou highlighter is as amazing as everyone says it is and I find this is my favourite out of the three, I find the Cindy Lou highlighter to be too pink on my pale skin with hardly any shimmer. I’d say this shade is the less glowest out of the three and could be used as a blush topper. Betty Lou can be a bit too dark for me if I don’t apply this well, I wouldn’t be using this to contour your cheeks like I first did or as a highlighter on my cheek bones as it’s just way too pigmented for that unless you go for a really light hand, I like to use this as an all-over bronzer and I’m sure I’ll be using this a lot more when summers around. I haven’t personally used this as eyeshadows myself but the set claims to be a bit of a multitasker in the highlighter/eyeshadow department.
