Getting Festive at Intu Victoria Centre Event

On Monday night, I attended a VIP bloggers
event at Intu Victoria Centre. I’ve seen a few blogger events happen in the
past and they’ve always looked so exciting, so I was thrilled to be able to attend
this festive event.

As I arrived and made my way through Vic
Centre, everything felt so Christmassy with their beautiful decorations up this year.

As always it’s nice to meet up with some
familiar faces along with some new ones as we were chatting away sipping a
cocktail or two from Thaikhun, unfortunately I was driving so I skipped mine.

It was then time to pull out our old
jumpers and get creative over at the long table full of glitter, sequins, wool
and fabric. I had a peek at what other bloggers had designed and they were all
fantastic, this also helped with the inspiration as I was stuck on ideas.

I’m not the best with textiles so luckily I
had a bit of help with sticking everything down in place with a glue gun.

With all the fun going on with designing
our Christmas jumpers we was then presented with a tasty festive treat from
Sloane Brothers. A frozen yoghurt company which you can find on the ground
floor of Vic Centre, these were so filling but so delicious I couldn’t finish
it.

The whole décor at this event really set
the festive scene as there was a Intu themed Christmas tree next to lovely
brown leather & tweed furniture with woodland animal themed cushions all
from House of Frasier, which is just my favourite around A/W time along with
the lanterns for candles.

Being the perfectionist that I am, I missed
out on the demonstration of the HTC Vive Virtual Reality Experience to decorate
a virtual Christmas tree which can be found on the ground floor in the main
area outside Next and Boots. I know this is open to anyone who wants a go on
this as I saw some people using this whilst I was about Christmas shopping this
weekend. So if you’re really into technology then I would give this a go as it
looked really fun but I do believe you have to book a slot to experience this and it’s only around until 20th December 2016.

Before we all left we was kindly gifted a
goodie bag from House of Fraser which has loads of little samples from skincare
to perfumes from the brands of Clinque, Charlotte Tilbury, Prada, Clarins, Decleor & Aveda.

Thank you to everyone at Intu, House of Fraser, Amy from Super+Super, Thaikhun, Sloane Brothers & Cartwright Communications for
organising this event and I will be looking forward to the event planned in
Summer so look out for this.
